The Capital Project | Showcasing New Brunswick Talent
The Capital Project; I Shot That promised to be the not-miss show of the year and it delivered on that promise. With 16 bands performing over 5 hours at the Boyce Farmers’ Market stage, there was a little something for everyone. From hip-pop to blues and indie to hard rock, the crowd would not be disappointed. The venue was jam-packed, which was bolstered by the fact that Sabian Cymbals picked up the tab for the cover.
The event was part of The Capital Project which is documenting the New Brunswick music scene for an upcoming web series. That was obvious at the event with the amount of cameras and video production equipment. The crowd was asked to participate by filming the show with their phone cameras. They can upload the footage to YouTube with the tag #The CapitalProject and possibly get their footage added to the credits.
Fred-E-Scene was on-hand to provide you a frontstage and backstage view of the event. Were you seen?
