June is when we hope to get the rest of our garden planted. If not planted earlier, beets, turnip, broccoli, brussel sprouts, cabbage, potatoes, tomatoes, marigold, cucumber, cabbage, eggplant, peppers, onion, cabbage, squash, basil, oregano, tarragon, and dill are just a few of the vegetables, flowers, and herbs that safely can go in the ground … as seed or seedling.

In this session you will:

1. become more familiar with some edible flowers that can be added to your garden;

2. Learn about the growing patterns and nutrient content of some edible weeds that grow in our yards, and;

3. Learn how to integrate some valuable high-pollen herbs into your food plants.

You will take home seed samples of edible flowers that do well planted in June when the ground is warm. You will also get valuable information sheets!

Time: 1:00 to 2:30 pm
Instructor: Corinne Hersey (Natural Capital Gardens)
Cost: $5 (Due upon arrival). Limited spaces
